I started filling in that survey of the year thing, got bored half way through, didn't want to list my relationship status as an 'achievement' because....no, just no. However, my answer to 'best purchase' was 'a dishwasher'. This is how exciting I am in my old age!

Strangely, in the old flat we rarely used it! I think Em disapproved, ha. But it's certainly handy when you've spent hours baking stuff and the last thing you want to do is wash up tons of things!

I consider achievement to be more like doing well at work, or passing exams, or that sort of thing - definitely not your lovelife, that's bollocks. Although you surviving the move up to Chesterfield was a hell of an achievement considering everything!
